By far the best place in Verona to eat. Hell, probably the best place in Augusta County. Amazing home cooked food and unbelievable prices.
Food was good but service was slow. They seem to pay more attention to the repeat customers than they do the first time customers. We never went back.
Got the special. Pork tenderloin. The green beans were terrible. They were sweet so I added salt but that didn't help so I didn't eat them. The rest of the meal was good.

Great family style restaurant with daily specials that make eating out a luxury!! Thursday night is our favorite; Country Style steak, mashed potatoes w/gravy, mac-n-cheese (homemade!), peas and bread for $4.95. Lunch or dinnner. Eat in or pick up. We've done both. Bring your politics ... FOX News is on the Big screen TV and there will be someone inside ready to debate (breakfast, lunch or dinner) up at the counter or find a quiet booth and just enjoy the ambience. We found this place about 3 years ago and eat there at least once a month. Check out the other daily specials ... they're all $4.95.
